Colin Spear

Colin Spear, M.A. is a percussion educator, composer, and adjudicator based in Louisville, CO. In 2025, he became the youngest member ever inducted into the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association Hall of Fame following a 19-year tenure at Monarch High School that yielded 10 State Championships and two WGI Finals appearances. Colin holds degrees from CU Boulder (B.M. Percussion Performance) and CU Denver (M.A.), currently teaches music in the Boulder Valley School District, and frequently serves as a clinician and adjudicator for CBA and RMPA.
